Apple Feature to Turn MLB Stadiums Into Interactive Playgrounds
Really fantastic work from MLB. We’ve been talking a lot about the promise of iBeacons lately and this is a glimpse of why. They are using them to determine exactly where you are in the ballpark and can even do cool things like show you a video on the teams history when you stand next to a statue or direct you intelligently to exactly where your seats are. They even are incorporating a virtual pinch card so teams can reward fans that attend multiple games.
