BAT needed their brittle codebase repaired fast; we delivered much more.

Codebase Woes

A troubled codebase doesn’t necessarily mean bad coders; projects passed off from team to team (and sometimes from company to company) can result in instability and errors internal teams might not be able to locate. At BiTE, we specialize in rehabilitating existing codebases and saving projects that might have gone off the rails.

“We inherited a mobile codebase riddled with errors and architectural problems. BiTE quickly stabilized the code and got us to launch.”

Strategy for Success

We did a week-long, onsite strategy session during which we not only determined how to repair their codebase but also helped them hone their ideas for upcoming products into a solid roadmap for the future. We were able to quickly build their ideas for them, to see if they were possible and help them in determining a way forward.

We worked directly with their internal team, mentoring them with mobile development techniques and best practices, from coding standards to setting up Continuous Integration servers. Over several weeks, we transitioned their app to a stable and usable codebase and their team into a knowledgeable, effective mobile-development group.
